Add 1 cup (8.5 oz) hot water into milk jug.Remove steam tip and place with steam wand into jug.Leave to soak for at least 1 hour.Thoroughly clean steam tip and replace onto steam wand, place wand back into the jug and activate steam cycle for 10 seconds.Discard solution and rinse jug.
